- Avoid disstractions: Shut down your phone, your TV, avoid places where someone can interrupt you from studies. By staying focused on books you will learn more in a short time. When you give a lot of your time to studies you get bored of it. But if you manage to learn a lot in just 2 hours then it will be a pleasing experience you will not want to miss in your next days.
- Start to study early in the morning: If you can't study before you hang out with your friends then get up early, go drink a coffee with them, then start to study immediately. Some students think they can study better at nights, but even if this may be true, studying early has a strong advantage that will make a big difference in the ammount of content you will read. If it's 11: 00 am and you've just learnt 30 pages, this fact will motivate you to continue learning other 30 pages later. You will feel like wanting to learn more. But if it's night and you didn't read anything you will feel like letting your studies for tomorrow and you will feel very satisfied with yourself even if you read only 10 pages at night. This doesn't happen if you start to study early, the momentum you build by learning 30 pages will make you eager to read more, you won't be able to stop learning due to this momentum you've built.
- Be persistent and try you best learning method: You are not going to always get what you want even if you study hard. You may want to get an A, you try your best learning method and you may end up getting B or C. However you must continue learning until you get the grades you want. Try your best method you think will help you get A, if this doesn't happen, improve your method of learning but don't give up after such failures, because if you do that you will not use your real potential, you will never know you could achive your goal.
